I think its dumb to think that the music today is not Hip- Hop, based on what Hip-Hop was over twenty- five years ago its evolved a lot. First there were Sugar Hill Gang ( easy going Rap more like freestyle) then there was N.W.A ( gangster rap), Then there was Fresh Prince and Vanilla Ice (fun rap nothing serious ). All of those things happened with in the first 15 years of Hip-hop coming around. There is nothing wrong with hearing Soulja Boy saying " Soulja boy Up In This Oh Watch me lean and watch we rock super soak that hoe yea, watch me crank that robo-cop" yea it has no true meaning but music is supposed to take you away from other places in a world in which you can have fun and do not have to worry about your troubles.
As long as the song can take you away from something it doesn't matter whether or not the song is "Hood Poetry". Poetry is more than just meaningful rhymes, sometimes its confusing, while others there is no true meaning just like we have here to day

Fashion

Now this blog entry is on Fashion. basically my style and what i think of my style and other styles that are out. First being from Brooklyn I have to discuss sneakers. One I will tell which sneakers are bad to wear. Skechers are at the top of the bad- sneaker list. If you are young like under 10 then I understand, but once you hit junior high school cut that mess OUT. Skechers are ugly and the are cheap sneakers. You don't have to go and by expensive Jordan's, but at least SOME Addidas and Converses will do. FUBU, Champion, New Balance (only acceptable for sports) are all NO No's. Please if you have any respect for yourself stick with the good sneakers, especially if you live an fashion city like N.Y.C.
These sneakers are bad because they are cheap, the don't have a specific style and the fabric they are made from isn't a good one. When you live in New York its all about the New Jordans and the New Nikes, that are out. new Ones come out ( if I'm right) every couple of weeks.

The First Pair of Sneakers is City High Converses. They are approved to wear.
The Second Pair of Sneakers is Purple and White Dunks from Nike, in the picture they are a little dirty, but you get my drift. They are approved to wear
The Thrid Pair of Sneakers is Red and White Ed Hardy Sneakers. They are approved to wear.
The Last Pair of Sneakers is a White and Black Fubu Sneakers. These are NOT APPROVED to Wear
